  CycleLife has a great combination of stock, service, and personality. The owner, Elie, has a vested interest in the sport, and sees you as a person not a dollar sign. That's pretty refreshing in this industry.

  By far the best bike shop in Durham Region. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Good selection of parts and accessories. A family run business, they know how to treat customers. I wouldn't buy bikes or gear anywhere else. You can even buy off their website when the store's closed. Cycle Life supports many local events and the communities in which they work, play and live. Join one of their group rides, too.

  There are "fancier" shops around, but you're not going to get better knowledge and service.

  I called to make sure they had a floor pump in stock, they answered and informed me that they did. When i arrived there the owner cashed me out and i found out that he was the one who answered the phone. He was very friendly and helpful. After leaving I was pumping my tires outside and he came out to make sure I was okay and he assisted me. You don't find customer service like that nowadays, where the owner answers the phone, helps cash you out and helps you out even when you didnt ask for help. He had other reps helping others and it was nice to see him making sure all his customer were well taken care of. Besides the great customer service, their store has everything you could need. I definitely will be going back there.
